Dave Kerrigan is the Founder, Principal and Managing Director at Sante Nasc, LLC – a health care consulting and advisory firm located in the Boston area. He also works as an advisor for TiE Boston’s ScaleUp program, as a mentor for Pulse@MassChallenge and Northeastern University’s Health Sciences Entrepreneur Program, and is a member of Social Enterprise Greenhouse’s Health and Wellness Council.
Previously, Dave worked as a Principal in the Health Exchange Practice at Conduent (formerly Buck Consultants, a Xerox Company). He served on the leadership team and worked with strategic vendor partners to assure a best-in-class exchange offering for its clients. Prior to that, Dave was the Director of Business Development for the Massachusetts Health Connector. As a member of the senior leadership team, Dave was responsible for business development, marketing, broker engagement, strategic partnerships, and Small business Health Options Program (SHOP) strategy. He came to the Health Connector from Willis of Massachusetts, one of the leading health benefits brokerage firms in the world.
Prior to Willis, Dave worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as a National Sales Executive working with the brokers and consultants serving large national and major employers in Massachusetts. Dave also has experience in predictive modeling and informatics having worked in a business development and account management role at Optum, a UnitedHealthgroup Company. Additionally, he has worked in provider relations at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and has experience in the hospital, home care, and health care advocacy space.
Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stonehill College majoring in Health Care Administration. He then went on to earn his Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University. Dave is also a licensed insurance broker, holding a producers license for life, accident and health insurance.
A frequent speaker on exchanges and exchange related topics and a self-proclaimed healthcare “geek”, he is excited about the disruption and change that faces the healthcare industry and is passionate about creating a better health care system. He is active in the healthcare startup space and acts as an adviser to a number of entrepreneurs, investors, and startups.
He grew up in Woburn, Massachusetts and currently lives there with his wife and two daughters.
